Jonathan K. Lai

Dr. Lai is a Montrealer raised in Venezuela. Prior to completing his medical degree, Dr. Lai completed a MSc in Forensic Biology in SUNY Albany and a BSc in Biochemistry at McGill University. He is currently the co-chief resident with Carel, two terms Vice President for Events for the Association of Residents of McGill, and an Ambassador for the Maude Abbott Medical Museum.

His clinical and research interests include anatomy, forensic and medical autopsies. He is a strong advocate for medical education. Outside of work, Dr. Lai can be seen rock-climbing, bouldering, and discovering new local restaurants.

He will be starting a fellowship in Forensic Pathology at University of Toronto, starting July 2024.
